Who can take part

  • You (or the study group you’re joining) must be age 18 to 30
  • If you have ADPKD: you must meet specific scan-based disease severity class 1 (not class 2)
  • Your kidney function must be good (estimated GFR above 60)
  • You must not have diabetes or high blood sugar based on lab or diabetes medicines
  • Urine test results should not show high protein (more than 1 gram per day) or signs of other kidney “filter” disease
  • You must be able to have MRI scans safely (for example, no certain metal implants, and you shouldn’t be pregnant)
