Comparing MRI and ultrasound for Crohn's treatment response

Who can take part

  • You have Crohn's disease affecting the small bowel or colon
  • You are 16 years old or older
  • You have already had a baseline MRI or ultrasound of your intestines as part of your regular care
  • Your doctor has ordered a follow-up MRI or ultrasound to see how your treatment is working, and it will be done within 15 months of the first scan
  • You have not had surgery to remove the diseased part of your bowel between the two scans
  • You can give informed consent and are not pregnant or unable to have an MRI
