Inhaled gene therapy for multiple lung nodules

This trial tests an inhaled gene therapy (p53) to treat multiple ground-glass lung nodules that are precancerous or cancerous. If you have these nodules and good lung function, this treatment may stop the nodules from growing.

Who can take part

  • You are 18 or older.
  • You have multiple ground-glass nodules (hazy spots on CT) with at least one between 0.5 cm and 3 cm.
  • At least one of these nodules has been confirmed by a biopsy to be precancerous or cancerous.
  • Your lung function is good (FEV1 at least 70% of normal).
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You have no other active cancer in the last 5 years and no severe heart, liver, or kidney problems.
