Who can take part
- You are pregnant with one baby and you are between 37 and 42 weeks along
- Your baby is lying head-first (cephalic position)
- Your ultrasound so far shows normal baby growth (not unusually small), and no major birth defects are known
- Your prior scans show no problems with blood flow or amniotic fluid, and the baby’s heart tracing is normal
- You plan to deliver within 24 hours due to early spontaneous labor or an induction
- You can be at least 18 years old and agree to sign written consent
