Who can take part

  • You are scheduled for videolaparoscopic gallbladder removal surgery.
  • During surgery, the study team needs a clear view of the right liver area where the groove is.
  • The lower edge of the right liver lobe must be visible enough to examine.
  • The main bile duct structures (the bile drainage pathways) must be clearly visible.
  • If these parts can’t be seen clearly on the surgical images, you may be excluded.
