Who can take part

  • You have a positive lab test (PCR or NAAT) for mpox (monkeypox).
  • You currently have active sores on your skin or mucous membranes (like in your mouth or genitals).
  • You are 18 years or older and weigh at least 40 kg (about 88 lbs).
  • You are not pregnant or breastfeeding.
  • You are not taking a diabetes medicine called repaglinide (unless you can safely stop it with your doctor's okay).
  • You have not used, and will not use, another study drug called tecovirimat (TPOXX) during this trial.
