- You are 18 years or older.
- You are scheduled for elective knee replacement surgery.
- You will receive neuraxial anesthesia (a spinal or epidural block).
- You are in ASA class I to III (generally healthy to moderate health risk).
- Your body temperature before surgery is between 36°C and 37.5°C (96.8°F to 99.5°F).
- You do not have alcohol or drug addiction and can be contacted.
