- You gave birth vaginally at a hospital taking part in the study.
- Your baby was born at the same hospital after at least 37 weeks of pregnancy.
- You baby weighed at least 5.5 pounds (2500 grams) at birth.
- Your baby had a normal heartbeat when you arrived at the hospital.
- Or, you are a staff member at one of these hospitals who has worked there for at least 3 months.
- Women who had severe bleeding after childbirth or whose baby had serious birth defects are not included.
