Who can take part

  • You must be between 18 and 45 years old
  • You must weigh at least 45 kg (99 lbs) if female or 50 kg (110 lbs) if male, with a healthy BMI (19–26)
  • You cannot have had major surgery in the past year or any surgery in the past month
  • You must not smoke (or have smoked 5+ cigarettes daily in the past 3 months) or drink heavily (14+ units of alcohol per week)
  • You must have no serious medical conditions affecting your heart, hormones, nerves, stomach, lungs, kidneys, blood, or mental health
  • You must be willing to use contraception for 3 months after taking the study drug if you can become pregnant or father a child
