- NCT06070194Recruiting
Heart health and eating patterns in short sleepers
This study tests whether changing the time window when you eat can improve heart health for people who naturally sleep 6.5 hours or less per night. You'll be asked to follow either a longer or shorter daily eating period while researchers measure blood pressure and other heart disease risk factors.
Baton Rouge, LouisianaAges 18–45 - NCT04737200Recruiting
Overnight feeding to improve sleep in ICU heart surgery patients
This trial studies whether planned overnight nutrition (through a feeding tube) can reduce sleep problems and daily body-clock disruption while you’re in the ICU after certain heart surgery. It may help you get more restful sleep and better regular “wake–sleep” timing during recovery.
Boston, MassachusettsAges 18 years+ - NCT04275453RecruitingPhase 1/Phase 2
Test diet vs ketone drinks to reach ketosis safely
This early-stage study compares how quickly and effectively a low-carbohydrate diet versus taking ketone supplements helps the heart use less sugar (measured with PET/CT scans). It also looks at how long it takes to reach a “ketosis” state, which may be helpful for metabolic health.

Common questions
- Are there clinical trials for time restricted feeding?
- Yes. Clin2 currently lists 27 recruiting time restricted feeding studies from the U.S. registry, each rewritten for real people, not researchers, so you can see what it’s testing and who it’s for.
- How do I know if I qualify for a time restricted feeding trial?
- Each study lists its eligibility criteria — rules about age, diagnosis, and prior treatments. On every Clin2 trial page we explain these in words written for real people and offer a short, optional pre-screen for a fit read. The study team makes the final decision.
- Does it cost anything to join a time restricted feeding trial?
- Using Clin2 is always free. Many trials cover the cost of the study treatment and related visits; some reimburse travel. The study team explains exactly what’s covered before you decide.
