Who can take part
- Be between 18 and 80 years old
- Be able to sign written consent to join the study
- Be scheduled for an endoscopy for Barrett’s esophagus screening/surveillance or early endoscopic treatment
- You can stop certain blood-thinning or anti-inflammatory medicines before the procedure (aspirin, NSAIDs, and some chronic anticoagulants)
- You don’t have bleeding problems that could make sedation unsafe (such as very low platelets or clotting disorders)
