Who can take part

  • You’re between 12 and 89 years old
  • You can walk 50 yards without stopping and you’re under 350 pounds
  • You can travel to the hospital and stay for up to 2 hours in the MRI scanner
  • You can follow a simple 3-step instruction
  • You do not have metal in or on your body that can’t safely go near an MRI machine (for example, pacemakers, metal clips, some implants, or metal in the eye)
  • You can complete the scan even if you feel nervous in enclosed spaces
