This Phase 2 study looks at whether continuing enzalutamide, the same prostate cancer pill you’re already taking (or about to restart), can keep helping. It’s for people who previously joined an enzalutamide study and are doing well enough to stay on the same plan.

Who can take part

  • You must already be taking enzalutamide for prostate cancer (or be assigned to restart it) in a sponsored Astellas or Medivation study
  • Your cancer must not have progressed on your current enzalutamide study, and you must not have been stopped for study reasons
  • You must be able to swallow enzalutamide capsules and follow all study visits and rules
  • You must not join another interventional (hands-on) treatment study during this study
  • If you or your female partner could become pregnant, you must use two forms of birth control—one highly effective—for the whole study and for a set time after
  • You must not need new cancer medicines or investigational drugs other than enzalutamide (palliative radiation is allowed)
