Who can take part

  • You have melanoma that has spread (metastatic), confirmed by pathology/biopsy
  • You have at least two measurable tumor spots that can be tracked on scans
  • You have one main tumor spot between 1 and 7 cm that a radiation doctor can treat with a shorter radiation schedule
  • You can safely do the radiation planning and treatment positions (you can lie flat and hold still)
  • Your overall condition is fairly good (ECOG performance status 0–1)
  • Your recent body tests (blood counts, kidney, liver) are within required ranges
