Who can take part
- You have an undislpaced small fracture in the upper part of the thigh bone (femoral neck), called Garden I or II
- The fracture was diagnosed and treated within the last 72 hours
- Your injury is being treated at one of the participating hospital units
- You (or your legal representative) can give informed consent to join the study
- Your care team believes you could reasonably receive either treatment option for your fracture
- Your fracture is not caused by disease or repeated stress (not a pathological or stress fracture)
