Who can take part
- You are age 18 or older.
- You have advanced liver scarring or cirrhosis confirmed by exam, imaging, or biopsy (and not active liver “worsening” episodes).
- You have never been diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC), or liver cancer.
- You meet risk score requirements (FIB-4 greater than 3.25 and PLSec score 3 or higher).
- Your blood counts and organ function (liver and kidneys) are strong enough, and you can do normal daily activities at least about 70% (Karnofsky 70+).
