Who can take part
- You have had cancer yourself and/or you have close family members with cancer that suggests an inherited risk
- Your family history may include early cancer, multiple cancers, rare tumor types, or repeated cancer cases in relatives
- A family “historian” (someone who knows the family’s cancer history) must be willing to share information and help contact relatives if needed
- You can join if you’re in a cancer screening or prevention genetics group at City of Hope, or from a group known to have higher genetic cancer risk or exposure risk
- If you are under 18, a parent or legal guardian must give consent
