Grow lab models of head and neck cancer to test treatments

Head and Neck Cancer

Part of Cancer clinical trials.

This study collects tissue from people with newly diagnosed head and neck squamous cell cancer and grows “mini tumor models” in the lab. The goal is to see how these models respond to new therapies, which may help guide more effective treatment choices in the future.

Biopsy-guided treatment planning for certain head and neck cancers

This trial tries a more personalized treatment approach for people with locally advanced head and neck cancers by testing their tumor and blood for cancer “genetic” clues. If you may be eligible, you would have fresh tumor (and possibly lymph node) biopsies at the start and again if the cancer returns, plus blood tests to guide research and future study options.

Personalized immune T-cell therapy study for head and neck cancer

This study focuses on testing a personalized immune therapy (made from your tumor-fighting T cells) for people with head and neck cancer. It may help patients whose cancer is new and untreated or whose cancer has come back or is not responding to standard options.
