Who can take part

  • Be at least 18 years old
  • Be a “CMV-negative” recipient who received a “CMV-positive” donor lung
  • After your transplant, you took valganciclovir (often brand name Valcyte) for either 6 or 12 months as your local team planned
  • After finishing prophylaxis, you had CMV blood tests (CMV DNA levels) for at least 12 weeks
  • You can sign informed consent (agree to join the study)
