Blood marker test in newly diagnosed PBC patients

This study looks at how a specific blood marker (sCD163) changes in people newly diagnosed with primary biliary cholangitis (PBC). It’s mainly meant to see whether this marker could help predict treatment response, especially before starting UDCA.

Bezafibrate for primary biliary cholangitis with incomplete UDCA response

Fenofibrate for first-line treatment of primary biliary cholangitis

Fenofibrate for primary biliary cholangitis with stable cirrhosis

This trial studies whether fenofibrate (a cholesterol medicine) can improve outcomes in people with primary biliary cholangitis (PBC) who already take ursodeoxycholic acid (UDCA) but still have abnormal liver blood tests. It specifically looks at people with “compensated” (stable) cirrhosis—meaning the liver disease is present but not causing severe complications right now.
