Who can take part

  • Be born between 24 and 32 weeks of pregnancy (gestational age) when the study starts
  • Have a birth weight over 750 grams
  • Be a single baby or twin (not triplets or more)
  • Be breathing with oxygen support less than 0.60 at the start
  • Be able to receive feeds through the stomach (enteral feeding) and be cardiovascular stable
