Who can take part

  • You had surgery by the hospital’s HPB (liver, bile ducts, pancreas) surgical team in the last 10 years (past records).
  • Or you are scheduled for surgery by the same HPB surgical team starting January 2019 (future patients).
  • You must be willing to provide informed consent if you are part of the future group.
  • You must be eligible to receive the surgery your team recommends.
  • You must be interested in participating in the study.
