Who can take part

  • You are at least 18 years old.
  • You have a formal diagnosis of cockroach phobia (animal subtype) based on DSM-5 criteria.
  • Your fear has lasted at least 6 months.
  • You agree to take part by signing informed consent.
  • Your fear and avoidance symptoms score high enough on the study’s diagnostic interview (at least 4 on those scales).
