Who can take part

  • You are age 18 or older
  • You have been diagnosed with cancer and now have bowel or stomach symptoms after cancer treatment
  • Your symptoms started after standard cancer treatments like chemo, radiation, immunotherapy, or surgery
  • You are expected to live at least 3 more months and your vital signs are stable
  • You are willing and able to undergo the required scope tests (gastroscopy and/or colonoscopy)
  • You have not used antibiotics, probiotics, or acid-suppressing medicines (like PPIs) in the past week
