- You are male and at least 18 years old
- You had sex with more than one male partner in the past 12 months
- You plan to keep having sex with more than one male partner in the next 12 months
- You had at least one treated syphilis, gonorrhea, or chlamydia infection in the past 12 months
- You are able to take doxycycline (no allergy to doxycycline or similar medicines)
- You are not currently using medicines that reduce doxycycline effect, like certain seizure meds
