Who can take part

  • You have stomach or stomach–esophagus junction cancer confirmed by biopsy and it may be removed by surgery
  • You’re being treated with the usual chemotherapy plan: 5-fluorouracil or capecitabine plus oxaliplatin, possibly with docetaxel
  • You are 18 years or older
  • You can provide informed consent (or the study can use a substitute consent process if you can’t be reached)
  • Your doctors have usable tumor tissue and medical details for the study (especially if part is retrospective)
  • You’re willing to let the study use your own samples for research and questionnaires
