Who can take part
- You have head and neck squamous cell cancer that is recurrent or has spread and cannot be fully removed by surgery
- Your doctor must be able to place the DaRT “seeds” safely in a tumor spot that is technically suitable
- You must be able to provide tumor tissue (from stored tissue or a new biopsy)
- You must be an adult (18+) with good enough body strength (ECOG 0–2) and expected survival over 6 months
- Blood tests must meet minimum levels (white blood cells, platelets, and hemoglobin) and kidney/liver function must be adequate
- You must not have certain prior treatments, immune conditions, infections (like active TB or hepatitis), or brain metastases
