- You have a child under 3 years old and come to a regular primary care visit
- You answer “Yes” to having difficulty making ends meet
- You can give informed consent (you agree to take part)
- You are a parent with legal status in Canada
- Your family is not currently receiving, and hasn’t received in the past year, help from a system navigator (like a social worker or public health nurse)
- Your child has not been diagnosed with a developmental, genetic, chromosomal, or syndromic condition, and was not born very premature (under 32 weeks)
