  • Be an adult older than 18 years
  • Be willing to participate even if you are of any race
  • You should not have liver disease, heart disease, or kidney disease
  • You should not have diabetes-related complications (circulation or nerve/“autonomic” problems)

  • Avoid using “vasoactive” blood vessel medicines such as nitrates
