Who can take part
- You are a woman age 16 to 45
- Your fibroid is not too large: the biggest fibroid must be 15 cm or smaller
- Your starting hemoglobin level is at least 9 g/dL
- You are healthy enough to have laparoscopic surgery
- You are not pregnant right now
- You have symptoms from fibroids (like heavy periods, pelvic pain/pressure, or infertility)
