Daily adaptive radiation for newly diagnosed cervical cancer

Who can take part

  • Newly diagnosed advanced cervical cancer confirmed by biopsy (specific cell types: squamous, adenocarcinoma, or adenosquamous)
  • No prior surgery removing the uterus (no hysterectomy)
  • Staging shows pelvic lymph node findings are allowed, but cancer in the para-aortic area is not allowed
  • You are planning to receive standard pelvic radiation plus chemotherapy at the same time (cisplatin-based)
  • Blood tests and organ function are good enough for treatment (counts, liver tests, and kidney function requirements)
  • You can complete multiple symptom and quality-of-life questionnaires during the study
