Who can take part
- Newly diagnosed advanced cervical cancer confirmed by biopsy (specific cell types: squamous, adenocarcinoma, or adenosquamous)
- No prior surgery removing the uterus (no hysterectomy)
- Staging shows pelvic lymph node findings are allowed, but cancer in the para-aortic area is not allowed
- You are planning to receive standard pelvic radiation plus chemotherapy at the same time (cisplatin-based)
- Blood tests and organ function are good enough for treatment (counts, liver tests, and kidney function requirements)
- You can complete multiple symptom and quality-of-life questionnaires during the study
