Who can take part

  • Your baby was born between 24 and 37 weeks of pregnancy
  • Your baby is at Mount Sinai Hospital
  • Clinicians have judged your baby suitable for clinically needed music therapy
  • Your baby is expected to survive at least 24 hours after starting the study
  • Your baby does not have a known or suspected genetic condition (like Down syndrome)
  • Your baby does not have a known or suspected hearing problem
