Midurethral sling surgery for stress urine leakage

Stress Urinary Incontinence

Part of Kidney & urinary, Women’s health & pregnancy clinical trials.

This trial studies how safe and effective a midurethral sling operation is for people with stress urinary incontinence (urine leakage with coughing, laughing, or exercise). It also requires special bladder testing before and after surgery to measure results.

NCT04829357Recruiting
Follow-up study for a sling to treat stress urine leaks

This study follows people who choose surgery using a synthetic under-the-urethra vaginal sling for stress urinary incontinence (urine leakage with coughing or exertion). It aims to track outcomes over time and help confirm the sling is safe and works as intended.

NCT02316275Recruiting
Exercise after sling surgery to help bladder leakage

This trial studies whether an easy, flexible exercise plan after mid-urethral sling surgery helps improve stress urinary incontinence (bladder leakage with coughing or activity). You may be asked to follow the exercise plan and attend follow-up visits for up to 2 years to see how symptoms change over time.

NCT06924450Recruiting
Modified mesh for stress incontinence surgery

This trial tests whether a modified mesh improves success rates in a common sling surgery for stress urinary incontinence. It is for women who have not improved with non-surgical treatments and are already planning to have this procedure.

NCT06754046Recruiting
Bulking vs. sling for stress incontinence with prolapse repair

This study compares two treatments for stress urinary incontinence (leaking urine when you cough or sneeze) done at the same time as surgery to fix a dropped bladder or uterus. One treatment is a small gel injection (bulking), the other is a sling procedure that supports the urethra.

NCT05646745Recruiting
Autologous sling surgery for stress urinary leakage in women

This trial studies a surgery that uses the patient’s own tissue to place a supportive sling for stress urinary incontinence (leakage with coughing, sneezing, or exercise). It may help women who haven’t improved with conservative treatments or who prefer not to try more non-surgical options.

Cairo
NCT05647070Recruiting
Sling surgery using your own tissue for stress urine leaks

This study looks at long-term results of a sling operation placed under the urethra using your own tissue to reduce urine leakage during activities like coughing or exercise. It may help women whose stress incontinence has not improved with conservative treatments (or who don’t want more non-surgical treatment).
