Imaging study for suspicious breast findings

This study looks at how detailed breast imaging can help diagnose breast cancer when a mammogram is suspicious. If your mammogram result was “highly suspicious” and you have not had a biopsy yet, the trial may be able to use your images to improve future diagnosis.

Who can take part

  • You recently had a diagnostic mammogram that was labeled BI-RADS 4 or 5
  • Your BI-RADS 4 means a suspicious abnormality, and BI-RADS 5 means highly suggestive of cancer
  • You have not had a breast biopsy yet
  • You are not pregnant and not breastfeeding
  • You do not have a prior history of breast cancer or a mastectomy with systemic treatment (like chemotherapy or hormone-blocking pills)
