Who can take part

  • You have had breast cancer confirmed by biopsy.
  • You had a lumpectomy (breast-conserving surgery) to remove the cancer.
  • You finished your main treatment (like radiation or hormone therapy) as recommended.
  • Your doctors consider you to have a higher-than-average risk of the cancer coming back.
  • You are able to have regular follow-up scans.
  • You are registered in a breast cancer registry in your country.
  • You haven't had breast cancer in the same or opposite breast in the last 5 years (other than the one you're being treated for now).
  • You have not had both breasts removed (double mastectomy).
  • You do not have breast cancer that has spread to other parts of the body (metastatic).
  • You are not pregnant at the time you join the study.
  • You have no medical reason that would stop you from having scans (like an allergy to contrast dye or metal in your body if MRI is needed).
