Who can take part
- You’re 18 years or older
- You have 4 or more fecal incontinence episodes every 2 weeks
- Your fecal incontinence is severe (score above 10 on the CCIS form)
- Your symptoms have lasted at least 12 months and you’ve already failed standard treatments
- Tests are required: anorectal manometry (pressure test) and an anal ultrasound showing a sphincter defect of at least 30 degrees
- If you can become pregnant: you must use reliable birth control during the study
