A probiotic test for repeat bladder infections
Part of Infections, Kidney & urinary, Women’s health & pregnancy clinical trials.
This trial studies ASTARTE™, a probiotic, to see if it can reduce repeat urinary tract infections (UTIs). It may help people who get UTIs often by testing whether the supplement lowers how frequently they come back.

This trial tests whether a fecal microbiota transplant (a procedure that transfers healthy bacteria from a donor's stool into your gut) can help prevent repeat urinary tract infections in women who have frequent infections.
This trial tests a therapy (called GAG therapy) to prevent repeat urinary tract infections (UTIs) in adult women. It compares how similar the results are to a well-known antibiotic standard (nitrofurantoin) to see if it works reliably.
This study tests whether putting testosterone in the vagina can help prevent future bladder infections (UTIs) compared with a dummy treatment. It’s for older postmenopausal women who keep getting UTIs, especially those who can’t or don’t want to use vaginal estrogen.
This trial studies a new way to help stop urinary tract infections (UTIs) from coming back by using “bacterial interference” (changing the bacteria in the urinary system). It may help people who have had UTIs keep returning despite past treatments.
This trial tests an oral capsule called U101 to see if it can prevent recurrent urinary tract infections (UTIs) in women who have frequent UTIs. If you've had at least 2 UTIs in the last 6 months or 3 in the last year, you may be able to join.
This trial tests if a daily probiotic (E. coli strain) can help prevent repeat urinary tract infections (cystitis) in women who have gone through menopause. If you have had multiple bladder infections and want to try a non-antibiotic option, this may be for you.
