Who can take part

  • You are a man age 40 to 80
  • You have a BPH diagnosis and urinary symptoms that have lasted at least 3 months
  • Your symptom score (IPSS) is at least 8
  • Your prostate is at least 20 mL and your urine flow is slow (Qmax 15 mL/s or less)
  • After you urinate, you leave 150 mL or less in the bladder (PVR under 150 mL)
  • You have not had certain recent treatments (like BPH acupuncture in the last month) or certain medicines in the last 2 weeks
