- You are a man over 40 years old
- Your doctor has recommended surgery for an enlarged prostate
- Your prostate is between 30 and 100 cubic centimeters (about the size of a walnut to a small apple)

- You have not had prostate surgery or prostate artery embolization before
- You are willing to have general anesthesia or sedation for the procedure
