Who can take part

  • Your child must be in the right age range: 8–24 months or 18–59 months (depending on the group).
  • A parent or legal representative must understand the study and sign consent, and agree to vaccination and visits.
  • A blood test must show RSV antibody status (either “sero-positive” or “sero-negative,” based on the lab’s result).
  • The child should be in generally good health, with only minor lab issues sometimes allowed if the study doctor feels it’s not important.
  • The child must be growing at an acceptable rate for age (above a specific growth-chart cut-off).
  • The child must be able to stay in the study for its full time, including extra visits and blood tests.
