Who can take part
- Be between 2 and 15 years old
- Have ulcerative colitis that is mild to moderate based on a symptom score (PUCAI between 10 and 64)
- Either be newly diagnosed (first-line) or have tried usual treatments and still not improved
- Have been off certain treatments or only use the right treatment path for this study (see questions)
- Be willing to receive regular colonoscopy as part of the study
