  • Be between 18 and 89 years old
  • Have a skin rash that fits tinea versicolor, confirmed by skin scraping and stain test and/or a Wood’s lamp light exam
  • Have not used any treatment for tinea versicolor in the last 4 weeks
  • No known allergy to cassia alata (the plant extract)
  • No known allergy to preservatives in creams/skin products
  • Not be pregnant
