Who can take part
- You have stage IV (metastatic) invasive breast cancer that is ER-negative, PR-negative, and HER2-negative
- Your breast cancer is PD-L1 negative (or not a type that would be eligible for checkpoint inhibitor immunotherapy)
- Your cancer must be measurable on recent scans (CT or MRI done within 28 days before starting study drug)
- You are 18 or older, and able to do daily activities at level 0–2 (ECOG 0–2)
- You have not had chemotherapy for metastatic disease before
- You are able to sign consent and meet basic blood/liver/kidney bloodwork limits (especially neutrophils and platelets), based on tests within 28 days
