Hypnosis to ease new foot amputation wound pain

Who can take part

  • You are 18 years or older
  • You have not had any prior amputation surgery
  • Your toe (or more than one toe) was amputated within the last 24 hours
  • Your pain is at least 3 out of 10 during the first dressing
  • You can understand the instructions and give written consent
  • You are not already taking opioid pain medicine like morphine before surgery
