Who can take part
- Your child has bilateral spastic cerebral palsy related to early brain injury from prematurity complications
- Your child is between ages 4 and 12
- Your child has not had botulinum toxin injections in the last 6 months or certain spine/nerve surgery in the last 12 months
- Your child can sit with support-free balance for at least 10 seconds
- Your child can clearly show pain, fear, or discomfort so the team can keep them comfortable
- Your child’s scoliosis is mild (curve less than 20 degrees), and they have not tried hippotherapy in the last 6 months
