Who can take part

  • You have confirmed muscle-invasive bladder cancer (T2 to T4a, and no spread to nearby lymph nodes or distant sites).
  • You have not had prior chemotherapy for this bladder cancer, and you must be willing to skip chemo that makes radiation work differently.
  • You must have enough strength and organ function (blood counts and liver/kidney tests within required limits).
  • Your bladder must be able to function well enough for bladder-preservation; no bilateral (both sides) blocked urine flow.
  • You must have a transurethral resection (TURBT) within 60 days and up-to-date scans (CT or MRI) within 60 days for staging.
