Yellow fever vaccine study for adults with past vaccination

This trial studies how well the yellow fever vaccine “17D” stimulates the immune system (the body’s germ-fighting response) in adults who were vaccinated with 17D years ago. It may help researchers understand whether a prior vaccination still provides protection and how strong the immune response is.

Who can take part

  • Be between 20 and under 50 years old at screening
  • Have had a yellow fever 17D vaccine at least 8 years ago (with proof like a vaccine card or medical record)
  • Be generally healthy and able to follow all study visits and follow-up
  • Do not have a current infection or fever (≥38°C/100.4°F) within 3 days before the vaccination day
  • Have no history of serious allergy (including allergy related to eggs) to vaccine ingredients
  • Avoid certain immune-suppressing medicines and immune-affecting conditions in the past few months, and do not have HIV, hepatitis C, or known immune problems
