Who can take part

  • Be over 18 years old
  • Have a confirmed diagnosis of cervical cancer (squamous, adenocarcinoma, or mixed types)
  • Have cervical cancer in stages IB2 through IIIB (with or without nearby lymph node involvement) and be planning curative radiation plus chemotherapy
  • Be able to have MRI scans (no severe claustrophobia and no metal in the body that prevents MRI)
  • Not be pregnant and have no metastatic (spread to distant organs) disease
