This study looks at whether substances called metabolites in your blood and breast tissue can help predict if breast cancer has spread to the first lymph node (sentinel node). If you are scheduled for breast cancer surgery and have not had prior treatment, the study team will use your blood and tissue samples to try to improve prediction.
