Who can take part

  • You have breast cancer that hasn't been treated yet (no chemotherapy, radiation, or ablation before surgery).
  • Your first biopsied lymph node (sentinel node) showed cancer, and you also had more lymph nodes removed from your armpit.
  • You had an MRI within 3 weeks before your surgery.
  • You haven't had breast cancer come back, or any previous surgery or radiation in your armpit.
  • You don't have inflammatory breast cancer, cancer in both breasts, or cancer that has spread to other parts of the body.
